01Program Design

The theme of the year is set in alignment with main agendas in APEC and other international organizations

The information on recruitment of Korean participants is available on this website or on other online communities (e.g. individual university bulletin boards), 2-3 months before on-site activities of the program begin. Recruitment authorities for other APEC member economies are Ministries of Education in each economy.

In consideration of major, capabilities, and competencies, global teams are matched and formed by the Secretariat (the organizer).

02Pre-program activities

IACE will provide online lectures on the understanding on APEC, other international/ vocational issues, and basic concepts of AEEP and ALCoB to broaden their thoughts and knowledge on various matters. Also, to make them ready for their team projects in advance, IACE will guide students by giving certain steps such as team building, brainstorming, and team action planning. Lastly, all participants will exchange and share their knowledge and any creative ideas on their team projects on the official AEEP website.

03On-site activities

Participants will have team-building activities for good teamwork as the first activity of experiential learning. Also, they will implement their team projects and data research, complete expected outcomes, and prepare for the final presentation. Facilitators from enterprises will play a role in advising students’ team projects and giving useful information for career and job hunting that students are interested in. Field trip to cultural site and educational volunteer activities will be also arranged. From the evaluation of students’ team project, winning students will be awarded on the final presentation day.

04Post-program activities

Participants will share the achievements and teams’ outcomes from AEEP activities by writing AEEP reports and implement online activities on social network or AEEP official webpage to disseminate those results and experiences with other APEC economies.

05Continuous Activities

Promote continuous community activities among participants and support them to be ALCoB-U (University students) to prepare being leaders of international cooperation in education
